Manuals

UltraBeam officially publishes new manuals in electronic format. Each manual has been compiled in order to provide a clear and immediate comprehensibility of the assembly procedure of the antennas currently produced.
Thanks to a common design and standards assembly procedures in many models, today 1 to 3 manuals are sufficient in order to assemble any UltraBeam model.
Simply download the "STANDARD" manual and any supplements needed to your specific antenna model.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The installation of antennas has (for a perfect operation and reliability) a very important role. Therefore, a careful and, if necessary, repeated reading of the manual is recommended before proceeding the installation and use of your antenna.

RCU-06 Software

ULTRABEAM REMOTE CONTROL Software

New release for the new RCU-06 controller.
With this software you can connect your Radio to the controller via PC, mandatory condition when the CAT port of your Radio is in use by your computer.
The software support connecting your controller at two different Radios.
Inside the application you can find the manual.

RCU-06 Firmware

The 'software' for the microcontroller which is inside the RCU-06. Consists of the firmware itself, as well as the loader (for Windows).

Installation procedure:

  1. Install USB FTDI driver (below)
  2. Connect to PC via USB cable
  3. Run the new firmware and wait for the controller terms upgraded. (Please do not disconnect the controller or switch off during this procedure).
  4. Check after using the command MENU -> INFO if the firmware was actually updated.
Note:
As usual the upgrading procedure has a low possibility of failure due to black out, wrong procedure or failure comunication with a PC controller. In this case the controller does not respond any more and has to be sent to the factory for reprogramming. In this unfortunate case a fee will be charged for the upgrading, restart and the shipping cost. Before upgrading your controller, take a while to evaluate if you really need it.

OLD Controller Firmware

Note:
As usual the upgrading procedure have a low possibility of failure due to black out, wrong procedure or failure comunication with pc-controller. In this case the controller does not respond any more and has to be sent to UltraBeam for a new reprogramming. In this unfortunate case UltraBeam will charge a minimum fee for the upgrading restart and the shipping cost. Before upgrading your controller, take a while to evaluate if this patch is of any utility to your set-up.
